The setup of the push buttons was done at the rear of this set, unlike in a car radio, so that after one re-located their domicile several times, the push buttons begin to become a burden, not a feature!
I nabbed this radio at a junk store after my first trip to Lubbock, TX to meet the manufacturing manager there. Well, I had a little over one hour remained until boarding my plane for return to Houston, TX. Somehow I managed to purchase this radio and catch my plane. It was another space and time!
Yes, I was still captivated by the finish achievable with 5 or 6 coats of finger-tip applied vanish. It was truly neat to behold what was once achievable in cabinetry in America! The next view gives a little more perspective on what initially caught my eye.
